DnD, World of Darkness, D20 Modern, Serenity.... I'll give anything a shot.
Have a million different ideas for games, just never write them or decide which system to use, The Wainscot Tales being a case in point.

Born in the land of ADnD 2e (oh those were the days. THACO anyone?), play 3E and anything D20. Have the Serenity RP book and the Game of Thrones one if I can ever muster the strength to do a game

Yeah you needed like a fuppin' degree in maths to work it. Like... AC of 9... to hit of.. 19? Roll a d20, get 15.... 24? And you hit?

Huh? You start at level 1 with a THACO of 20 so if you're trying to hit something with an AC of 0 you have to roll a 20 (or higher). If you want to hit something with an AC of 1 you have to roll a 19 or higher etc. Each level you go up your THACO goes down by 1. So if you're trying to hit something with......
Wow, the new way is better...

Your THACO only went down by 1 per level if you were a Fighter Class if I'm not mistaken. It Went down slower for Thieves and Mages

To Hit Armour Class 0
In the old system your armour class went down, not up. No armour meant you had an armour class of 10, full plate gave you an armour class of 0.
THACO told you what you had to roll to hit depending on your opponent's AC.
The new way is easier because in the old way with higher level characters and magical armour you could end up with negative numbers, which, when you first start playing could (and did) get confusing.

Yeah mages and clerics were like once every 3 levels and druids and rangers were every 2 levels.
THACO is "To Hit Armour Class 0"
It was dumb

First off, guys, its THAC0, as in zero at the end, not O.
Anyway, my rping experience is more limited than others. I do have a big collection of books, the majority of them being d20. Mostly campaign books. Also, Legend of the Five Rings RP. Thats pretty much it.

I remember THAC0...I really wish I didn't, it made my head hurt. I mainly play DnD 3e, like a lot of people though I started out with ADnD 2e Really want to play a Serenity RP (looking at you Saisei)
