Damn you Mouse, beat me to it!!
Now, board games, lets see:
Game of Thrones (and both expansions) War of the Ring Risk Star Wars Risk M Settlers of Catan Heroscape
As for the Marvel board game by Fantasy Flight, I am also very intrigued, might just have to buy it.
Also, really want to play Twilight Imperium. And numerous others. I think I'm leaving stuff out, but if I remember I'll add it.

Me? Typo? Never. M is a real game. My uncle gave it to me, but was never overly pushed to play it. Also, heres the page for the Marvel game if your interested. Well, here it is.

When you pick your "character" the site says to pick the one that's most like your personality, I read that and thought, "Hang on, maybe there is more to this, maybe there's a difference between them that actually affects the game..." but no, there's just five or six paper cutouts of Cardinals, I guess you pick the one that looks most like your personality? BTW, if any of us ever get this for whatever reason, I've dibs on being the black guy. lol

Guys, its not the setting of the board game that makes it cool, its the way it plays. If it makes you feel any better, imagine it being elected to galactic commander or something else. It might actually be a good game!!
Also, Mystic, you have Axis and Allies?

Lol I played Axis and Allies once and there was an... unfortunate "incident" regarding the rules which ended with Liam whipping his arm across the table, knocking everything and sending pieces flying across the room and then deeming the game over.
